“Melanin-Rich Skin Can Benefit from K-Beauty Too” … wolGlow Holds North American Launch Event in New York
wolGlow, a K-beauty brand designed for melanin-rich skin, officially entered the North American market after holding a launch event in New York on the 7th (local time).
wolGlow is a skincare brand developed specifically for people with higher levels of melanin pigmentation, including Black, Latino, and Middle Eastern consumers.
The launch event was held at a bar in Manhattan’s Koreatown and was attended by around 100 Black influencers and beauty industry professionals.
During the product development process, wolGlow incorporated feedback from the Black community and influencers. Drawing on Korean skincare routines and functional ingredients, the brand focused on the qualities most valued by consumers, including radiance enhancement, skin soothing, and deep hydration.
Nehemi Pierre, a well-known Black beauty influencer, personally visited Korea, toured cosmetics companies, research institutes, and manufacturing facilities, and directly participated in the product development process.
